MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To assume full accountability for all financial aspects of the business, including Financial / statutory reporting, strategic and tactical decisions affecting and impacting business finance fundamentals, working capital management, corporate activity relating to mergers/acquisitions and greenfield projects, forecasting, tax and legal compliances and budget management across all areas of the business.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

1.BCom Honours in Accounting, CA (SA)
2.Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience (post articles) in a Corporate environment
3.Experience in working across borders, acquainted with tax and political legislation of the African countries
4.Experience in strategic planning and execution
5.Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures
6.Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
7.Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
8.Ability to develop and deliver presentations
9.Ability to identify and secure funding/revenue sources
10.Ability to communicate and interact at all levels
11.Work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
12.Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects
13.Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources
14.Exceptional professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
